scopemy.city is a pilot citizen observatory deployed in Geneva. It allows residents to report public-space issues via WhatsApp, and authorities to publicly track their handling. The system is ready to be extended to other Swiss municipalities.
The system in a nutshell
scopemy.city is a web and WhatsApp platform that lets citizens report an issue (roads, lighting, mobility, public services…) in seconds. Each report is verified by a moderation team, geolocated, categorized, then published on a public observatory.
Municipal authorities have access to a dedicated dashboard: map view, filtering by category and status, data export, and processing-time tracking.
The source code is maintained by Help4Housing Sàrl. Deploying to a new municipality requires no technical installation on the municipality's side.

What authorities see
The admin dashboard displays each report on an interactive map, with filters by category, status, and priority. Municipal agents can update the status, add an official reply, and export data. Citizens see the progress of their report in real time.
