Your questions, our answers

Will my WhatsApp number be made public?

No, never. Your number is used only by our moderation team to contact you if needed, and is not shared with public services. On scopemy.city, reports are published anonymously.

How long does it take for a report to be processed?

Our volunteer team usually verifies each report within 48 to 72 hours. Once published on the observatory, we forward it to the relevant public service — but we cannot guarantee their response time.

Is it free?

Yes, entirely. scopemy.city and fixmy.city are a volunteer-run, ad-free civic service, operated by Help4Housing Sàrl. You pay nothing, and we sell no data.

Can I report anything?

Reports must concern Geneva's public space: roads, mobility, lighting, public services, solidarity, neighborhood life. We do not publish defamatory content, photos of identifiable individuals, or requests related to private disputes. In case of emergency, dial 112, 117, 118 or 144.

Can I track the progress of my report?

Yes. Once published, your report receives a unique reference (e.g. FMC-A3B2C1). You can check its status at any time on the observatory.
